The Buteyko Breathing Method is taught by trained Buteyko Practitioner in a classroom like setting and consists
primarily of breathing reconditioning techniques and exercises. The method does not in any way
interfere with medical treatment participants receive from their doctor, nor does it encourage them to
experiment with prescribed medication use and dosage. Prior to beginning the course, participants must
sign an agreement not to alter their current medical treatment and prescribed medications.
